Software Engineer (full-time)
Primary responsibilities
- Software development including design and coding
- Unit testing of features
- Documentation of features
- Interacting with other Red Condor Team members during the introduction and deployment of features
Qualifications
- Have completed at least one substantial project using JQuery
- Demonstrable proficiency in JavaScript, CSS and HTML demonstrated
- Familiar with Java and Struts
- Have significant experience in Man-Machine Interface Design
- B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

Operations Engineer/Linux Administrator (full-time)
Primary responsibilities
- Linux operating system patching, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance
- Database (Postgres & mySQL) administration, including backup/restore, re-indexing, and performance optimization
- Basic network administration including management of switches, routers, firewalls, VPN devices
- Responsible for tier-3 support of Red Condor’s hosted systems as well as for customer appliance deployments
- Primary accountability for system availability, disaster recovery, system backups
- After hours availability as part of rotating on-call schedule
Qualifications
- 3+ years of solid Linux sys admin experience in a large (100+ server) environment
- Strong experience deploying, testing, and monitoring network and server-based software on Linux
- Demonstrable ability using command line shell to add, remove, and manage RPM packages via RPM
- Self-starter with strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and computer skills
- Experience administering email systems (Unix-based)
- Experience with spam and virus filtering for messaging systems
- Experience working for technology startups
- Degree in CS, MIS or equivalent experience preferred
- IT certifications, e.g., CCNA / MSCE experience preferred
